case of the missing broom 3

"Therius Kaziel Altobelli Granshester!" King Alex's voice had the strength of a parent about to give a lecture.  "You just destroyed my study, again, today!"  The King pointed to the place where his desk would have been.  "I was giving the morning broadcast just 15 minutes ago.  I could have been there!"
It was a sight; the King's tidy study was upside down and so was his son.  There was a hole in the roof about 5 ft. wide.  The desk at one end of the room was split in two, smoke rose from it to the hole in the roof right above it.  The blue velvet curtain behind the desk had holes going through it and the edges were burned.  The window was smoked and the debris from the roof flooded the majestic gold and blue carpet.
Amidst all the debris, lying feet up on the sofa to the other side of the room, was Prince Terry.  His long legs spread on the backrest of the sofa and his head hanging off the seat.  His pale skin was darkened from the explosion.  His eyes, that were closed until now, opened abruptly and he straighten himself up, falling off the sofa.
"Damn it. It exploded!"
"Yes. I noticed that son." King Alex crossed his arms and gave his son an exasperated look.
"I was so close to find it too!" The Prince busied himself taking pieces of the roof off of his glorious white shiny hair, now covered in dirt. "I have to start from the beginning, analyze the compounds, measure more carefully, isolate my reactions before combining the whole...that's it! that's what I forgot!" He started pacing the room. "My notes, has anybody seen my notes? Don't tell me they burned with the rest of the room!"
"Have you checked in the drawer son? you know, right next to the chair!"
Price Terry looked back to the drawer to the right side of the desk where the legs of the King's chair lay protruding from the inside.
"Dad. I know I ruined your study but I was so close to finding my answer, I couldn't stop."
"Terry your study up there" the King pointed to the hole in the roof, "is for reading only.  I have told you that.  If you do your experiments up there, things like this end up happening." The King spread his arms pointing at the destruction in his study.

The King of Jupiter II was too used to this to be bothered by the mess. "Anyway, Terry where is your brother?" He asked very calmly as he helped Terry take dust off his head and shoulders. "Kaz is still in the palace right?"
"I'm not sure.  I haven't seen him today."  Prince Terry finished dusting himself off then stood next to his father. "Arquimitris, the mess!"
"Yes sir!" I replied and proceeded to realign the room.  Thanks to a preprogrammed scheme of the palace and a regeneration enchantment, all the objects in the palace can be reconstructed when they break.  As long as nothing breaks into minuscule particles, the objects will automatically regain their form.  Now, that hole in the roof is going to need some fixing.  I can close it, but it won't be a safe place until it is reinforced manually.
"Arquimitris, call maintenance immediately.  I want that hole reinforced before someone upstairs falls down  through to my office."  The King walked back to his desk, now fixed, and sat down.  All the furniture was now back to normal; the books were in their place, curtains looked like new and the tiny vacuum robots were cleaning the dust off the carpet.
"See father," Prince Terry walked over to the desk hopping over a vacuum-bot, "All fixed. There was nothing to worry about."
"Because we can fix it doesn't mean you should break it son."
The King of Jupiter II moved over next to the Prince trying to get out of the way of the retiring vacuum-bots.
At that moment, one of my internal beacons started to buzz.  I announced trying to suppress my excitement
"Your majesty, you have an external call.  It is his majesty Argos, King of Neptune II."
